UK Franchise expands into Central Europe.

Business for Breakfast

As one of the foremost business networking franchises in the UK, Business For Breakfast is pleased to announce its expansion into Central Europe.

Having established itself as an invaluable networking tool for small and medium-sized businesses in the UK, Business for Breakfast (BforB) is now launching franchise opportunities in the Czech Republic.

A key figure in BforB's move into Central Europe is the Master Country Licensee for BforB Kamila Zarychtova, who has played a pivotal role in bringing the project to life.

Shortly after meeting BforB at their head office in Eccles, Kamila moved back to the Czech Republic and began to research the viability of starting up franchises there.

In June 2010 top Prague law firm Masek Advokati approached Kamila with a view to starting a Business for Breakfast franchise. Masek Advokati have a broad client base across Czech business law and have worked with top law firms in the UK representing commercial property and real estate transactions, including business partnerships and formations.

On Monday 28th of June 2010 Peter Masek (Partner at Law) and lawyer Simona Masek met with Kamila and Business for Breakfast founder and Managing Director John Fisher at the prestigious Barcelo Hotel in Prague to finalize the deal.

The project had been 18 months in the making.

In March 2009, Bforb MD & Founder John Fisher and fellow Director Mel Fisher flew to Prague to attend the Czech Franchise Association conference and investigate the franchise market. In July that year, Kamila returned to the Czech Republic to seek funds and carry out background research on how best to establish a BforB service. The trip proved a great success: Kamila secured 100% of the funds required, and two venues confirmed that they would become hosts for BforB meetings.

After returning to the UK for two months of practical and operational training, Kamila set to launch the first two BforB referral meetings in September 09 with help from UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and the British Embassy in Prague. Soon afterwards, BforB Czech Republic formally exhibited and presented to the Czech Franchise Association, officially launching its franchise opportunity.

As a nation, says Kamila, the Czech Republic looks set to become the next European economic powerhouse.
